Co-Curated palette

Co-curated palette is an experience with a tangible result – your personal palette that we have built together. This includes DeepDeepLight artist time and either 15 or 20 color palette in a tin with your palette colors in half pans.

We will spend some time to understand what your wishes and dreams are, which colors you love, and what you paint. Then we will put this together with our knowledge of our paints and will work until you will say, “this makes my heart sing”. We know this feeling, and it is like homecoming. Like seeing yourself finally. We have our own personal palettes, and every time we open them, we want to play, paint, and just be there with our colors.

We have 110 colors in our catalog. It appears we can build more than a quintillion (one with 18 zeros) different palettes of 15. To understand how much it is, imagine this: if we spent one minute to assemble each possible palette in a tin, it would take us 2.24 trillion years. It is more than 100 times the age of the universe (of what we think it is now). Or, in other words, the number is so big that your personal palette becomes like an artist DNA – statistically impossible to repeat.

We know our paints. You know yourself. Putting these together, we can get a palette that becomes your signature in art. Something very special and unique.

We offer a choice of 15 or 20-color palettes. These are the most difficult, and in our experience this is the most popular palette size for personal palettes. This doesn’t mean you have to live with this palette forever, no. We are sure an artist palette is an evolving phenomenon, following seasons, geography, growth, and development in art and in personality. You might want another palette for travel, or for trying another identity, or when working on a specific project. We still have more than 100 colors in our catalog.

From our side, there are three DeepDeepLight artists who will be your palette co-curators: Agnese Aljena, Daina Domasute, and Santa Smolaka. We are the ones who know our paints to the pigment level. We paint ourselves, and we are the voice of our paints.

Mixes nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to work with it. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.

All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. Binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as top note and sandalwood in the base note.
