Description
Lavender. Pigment mix (PB29, PV15, PR122, PW4) in half-pan watercolor. Fits in all palettes designed for half-pans.
Lavender is one of the contemporary classical watercolor mixes, made by almost all watercolor producers and mixed in many artists’ palettes using blue, red and white. It is like creme brulee or cheesecake in a menu of so many restaurants and kitchens around the world. People know them and love them so much. Our version of Lavender mix has a tiny dash of pink that shines through if a lot of water is used. Just like lavender fields have this tiny pink feeling. Maybe it can’t be always seen, but you can feel it.
Mixes nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to work with it. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.
All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. Binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as top note and sandalwood in the base note.
