Watercolor journal

When our imaginary colleague Isaac joined us, soon we understood we need a product line for him. A few weeks later in France, we came across amazing 100% cotton handmade journals by a company named Epigram. We tested them with our watercolors and the feeling was “it is a match made in heaven”. We bought some stock and asked our friends in Lotte’s Papery to make them durable to be able to bring them around the world forever. And they looked exactly like Isaac’s journals.

We see them as a perfect daily companion for journaling our lives in writing and with watercolors. Paper is weathered, so you don’t have to be afraid to pour your soul as it is. It is handmade 100% cotton paper, 96 pages. They are as soft as tissue (that’s how kids described it) but amazingly hold color on just one side of the paper. It doesn’t change shape and you can flood it with water. The only thing – as it is soft, it is not eraser friendly. It means that these are books for true expression without erasing anything. Journals come in two sizes – a5 and a6.

Lotte’s Papery has made leather covers for them with laser engraved DeepDeepLight sketch. You can choose from dragonfly, pigeon, bentgrass, or acorn. And it comes with personalization – you can choose up to 5 letters to be embossed. They can be plain, in gold, or in silver. Later you can buy just inserts that are beautiful by themselves and will look perfect on your bookshelf of life.

2. Would you like to personalize the cover – letters and kind of embossing

Please note that making journal covers takes some time – we reserve up to 3 weeks for this.

If we can’t reach you after your order, then we will send you journal covers without personalization and with our choice of drawing on the spine.
