Rose Marrakesh

Rose Marrakesh. Pigment mix (PW4, PR170, PY43, PR101, PV15, na), half-pan watercolor. Fits in all palettes designed for half-pans.

This soft warm pink arrived in our collection with a help of our ambassador, wild Australian artist with Latvian roots India Flint.

“I asked my friends the harvesters of rainbows to conjure a colour to gift to my fellow travellers on a journey through Morocco. A hue that spoke of dusty walls, dried velvet rose petals, the scents of the spice markets and birdsong in hidden gardens. A crepuscular colour that blooms gently from the tip of a brush like the first pink light of dawn warming to a westerly wind.
They made “Rose Marrakech”.

All our watercolors mix nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to paint. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.

All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. Binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as the top note and sandalwood in the base note.
