Welcome to Mellow Days & Cosy Nights – a collaboration between DeepDeepLight and an amazing artist, our ambassador Natasha Newton. Natasha for us is a master of playing with muted, moody colors at the same time creating amazingly expressive and colorful art. We were honored to co-create a special color for this palette – a grey that leaves a very special aftertaste. Here is what Natasha says about her Mellow Days & Cosy Nights set:
“The idea behind this palette was to gather together a selection of colours inspired by the subjects I love to paint. There are 15 muted and moody tones for landscapes, nightscapes and nature, touching on each of the four seasons as well as day and night. These earthy, textured colours play perfectly together, with the addition of Natasha’s Grey, a new and unique colour developed especially for this palette. Granulating and colour separating, Natasha’s Grey is perfect for shadows, distant hills, cloudy skies and stormy seas. Enjoy stepping into my world of mellow days and cosy nights!”
Mellow Days & Cosy Nights is a set of 15 half pans in a tin with a sliding lid:

- Cedar teal
- Natasha’s grey
- Cassel brown
- Jay blue
Mixes nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to work with it. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.
All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. The binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey or glycerine, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as the top note and sandalwood as the base note
