Description
We know that sometimes half-pans are just too small for wild & free people. We might want a bigger brush or we just need our soul color more than any other. That’s why we have decided to fill bigger pans when you need them. Whenever we mull any of our colors we can fill a larger pan for you. We will not keep a stock of them, so each pan will be filled just for you. We will think about you, will mark your pan, and most probably will check from time to time saying “how is “Ann” doing :)” We have always imagined ourselves as personal paintmakers rather than a factory. This is one step closer to this paintmaker image. Here, on this page, will be always a list of currently available colors for filling in larger pans. We will let you know also about our fresh colors on Instagram. Or you can always ask. Some colors we mull more frequently, some just once a year. So please let us know when you have noticed that your favorite color is on our mulling glass. When buying any of these large pans, please let us know which color would you like in the notes or write us a message on Instagram or to our email at lightdeepdeep@gmail.com
We have two types of larger pans:
- full pans that fit nicely in your regular watercolor tins and are exactly twice the size of a half-pan;
- and a small aluminum tin with a sliding lid in the size of double full pans or four half pans.
The curing time for these large tins will be from 4 to 8 weeks. It depends on our weather, season, and other factors. Please ask about the availability of a particular color – we have most of the colors ready to fill, but we have to mull some. It would add a bit more time.
Mixes nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to work with it. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.
All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. Binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as a top note and sandalwood in the base note.
