Our collection of blues – flowing fast and slow, active and peaceful, light and deep, granulating and smooth. This collection brings us to the waters, the sky, distant mountains, blue forests, and deep dreams. It makes us hear silence and wind, and the ocean. It calms and heals. Just like sitting by the river or at the seaside. Enjoy this water meditation!
The set comes in a tin with a hinged lid and contains 8 blues:
- River – dark green-blue with amazing granulating effect
- Dragonfly blue – turquoise blue
- Deep blue – warm blue
- Paris blue – classic blue, a bit warm
- Cobalt ultramarine – primary transparent blue
- French ultramarine – another classic, granulating blue with a slight rend tint
- Jay blue – dark granulating blue
- Indigo – plant-based jeans indigo – please let us know which one from our three indigos would you like
All our watercolors mix nicely with other natural and human-made pigments. For best performance add a few drops of water some minutes before starting to paint. It will reactivate the pigment and will be more fluid.
All our watercolors are handmade from pigment or pigment mixes, binders, and essential oils as conservative. Binder is made by ourselves from gum arabic, natural honey, and water. Our watercolors have a flowery scent, with lemongrass as the top note and sandalwood in the base note.
